Up until now, rakyat’s attention is still focused on the
rudeness of a few opposition leaders during the coronation ceremony of
the Seri Paduka Baginda Yang Di-Pertuan Agong XIV, Tuanku Abdul Halim
Mu’adzam Shah on April 11
They were said to have mocked these Malay Royals and few of them include
PKR’s Vice President, Azmin Ali and his Vice President, Tian Chua.
However, according to latest reports, both of them had denied such
claim.
In their denial statements, the claim was taken as personal attacks and
propaganda that was played by UMNO. In short, nothing had happened and
all of those were fictious. Well, that was what they said.
Azmin questioned why would Dr Rahman Kadir who is said to be working as
the medical officer at the ceremony could sit at the Balairong Seri and
claim that he saw the incident. “I do not know why would he make such
claim and this is clearly UMNO and Barisan Nasional’s propaganda because
they failed to answer certain rakyat’s issue,” he said during an
interview at the Parliament lobby.
Previously, a media reported that Dr Rahman claimed that opposition’s
Parliament member mocked Malay Royals during the coronation ceremony of
Yang di-Pertuan Agong at Istana Negara.
Meanwhile, Tian Chua, claimed
that the establishment of the Royal Commission in investigating such
matter, as proposed by few is irrelevant as it is an accusation without
witness.

Neither Azmin nor Tian Chua has the right to deny the matter and take it
as fictious and propaganda made by the government or UMNO.
But the statement of denial is still not concrete from all claims made
by Dr Rahman and on April 13, Dr Rahman repeated his stand and stated
that Azmin Ali, Tian Chua and a few other opposition leaders really did
such behavior.
He also added that there were many witnesses who saw their rudeness.
They cannot put aside the fact that it really happened because mot of
the witnesses were not just politicians, even regular citizens were
there.
We can see the history of treason from opposition leaders and their
supporters such as during the transition of Perak’s PR government in
2009 which is still fresh in our memory.
The same thing happen when Karpal Singh tried to sue Perak’s Sultan.
That is why it would be hard for rakyat to deny the matter that might
have happened during the coronation ceremony.
The easiest way to prove who is right in this matter would be the court.
Azmin and Tian Chua should take swift action by suing Dr Rahman Kadir
to prove that they are right.
Making denial statement would not simply please rakyat.
As for Dr Rahman Kadir, he would definitely have no problem in facing
legal actions as his claim were backed by a few other witness who would
not hesitate to go to court to prove the right thing.
The question now is, would Azmin Ali and Tian Chua dar
